Terms and Conditions of Sale – Digital Products
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Overview
These terms apply to the sale of digital products, including but not limited to self-paced online courses, PDF downloads, and resources provided via Melanie Lay Solutions (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Digital content is defined as data produced and supplied in digital form, including downloadable files and online access to educational content.
2. Purchase and Access
Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive immediate access to your digital product. This includes either:
- Access to an online course hub
- Permission to download a PDF or resource file
You are responsible for ensuring your device and internet connection are compatible before purchasing.
3. No Refunds – Digital Products
Where you purchase digital content such as a downloadable resource or online course, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days.
If you ask for the digital content to be supplied immediately and expressly acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right to cancel once supply begins, the right to cancel may no longer apply once the supply has started.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Under UK consumer law, you lose the right to cancel and request a refund
This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and applies because:
- Digital content cannot be “returned” once downloaded or accessed
- Access is granted instantly, and the product is considered “used” upon delivery
Therefore, all sales of digital downloads and online courses are final and non-refundable.
3. Intellectual Property
All content, downloads, and materials provided remain the intellectual property of Melanie Lay. You may not reproduce, share, distribute, or resell any content without written permission.
